8 Days

Some of you will be aware that I am a practising Jew. Monday evening marks the begining of the 8 day festival of Pesach (Passover).  In a nut shell it means plenty of spring cleaning and much introspection on the theme of freedom and slavery.

In order to help us to do this we don’t eat bread (and if our ancestors came from middle or eastern europe – like mine – no rice, pasta and a whole bunch of other stuff).

We eat matza instead.

I will return in a couple of weeks.
